Inclusive Practice

Inclusive Practice at MAYA: The AuDHD Psychotherapist

At MAYA, through my work as The AuDHD Psychotherapist, I am committed to offering a therapy space that is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and anti-oppressive.

As someone who is both autistic and ADHD myself, I understand how vital it is to feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I aim to co-create a space where clients feel safe to show up authentically — with no need to mask, explain away, or tone down who they are.

I actively reflect on the systems we live in and how these shape our mental health. I welcome clients from all walks of life, including those who are queer, trans, BIPOC, disabled, chronically ill, and anyone who has felt "othered" or marginalised in traditional therapeutic settings.

This is not a space of “fixing,” but of understanding and empowerment. Therapy with me centres your lived experience and aims to support you in navigating the world on your own terms.

My practice is always evolving — I continually seek to unlearn bias, listen deeply, and honour the diverse identities of the people I work with.

You are welcome here — fully, as you are.
